CMS Modules

The Modules are expanded functionality for your system. Some modules are required further payment or others not.
In order to install new modules in your system first click on the Modules tab at the administration page.

From the drop down menu you will see the available modules.
Thereafter, you have to choose anyone of the drop down list and then click on the 'Add new module' link.

After clicking on the link the module will be in your system. The next thing that you have to do is to enable it or not.
This functionality is in use in the case that you want at some point to disable the module but not delete the module.
When you click on the 'Enable' action you will have the ability to use the desirable functionality.

Further details on how to install each module is going to be send to you every time you purchase a new module as SQL changes need to be done as well.
Bear in mind that CMS installation is free of charge along with any module.

Installation of a module (optional as this can be performed from Guru-host staff without cost)

Step 1

Login to your web hosting control panel (like Cpanel, Directadmin, Plesk, Webmin etc) and load the phpmyadmin or any other application which gives you access to your MySQL database. Usually this is something like http://mydomain.com/phpmyadmin. I assume that you have phpmyadmin installed. As soon as you logged in, go to your existing database click on it and then select the SQL tab. Inside the tab paste the SQL code  that Guru-host gave you along with the module files and finally click the go button. Log out from phpmyadmin.

Step 2

Upload via FTP or SSH the files of the module that Guru-host send you to the relevant directories. This is described in the Readme.txt file inside the zip file which includes the module. Usually the module files needs to be uploaded under modules and the relevant template files (.tpl) under templates/themes/yourtheme/

Step 3

Log in into the CMS administration panel by using your own administrator username and password and navigate to the Modules link/icon. You will be able to select the module from the drop down menu which says 'Select module'. Do as it says, select your module, let's say the newsletters and click Add new module. Then click Enable from the next table in order to activate the newsletters module. Go back to Admin Home and you will see a new icon with a link related with the module you've just installed. In our example that is the Newsletter link/icon. Just click on it and you can start using your new module.
